The event took place on September 8th at the beautifully prestigious VanDusen Botanical Garden – Vancouver West’s most renowned outdoor garden. At the Supercar Charity Drive, autistic children had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to ride in the eco-friendly supercars of premium auto company, Fisker Automotive, maker of the world’s first production plug-in luxury sports sedan.
A much-anticipated highlight of Vision’s charity event was the appearance of Henrik Fisker himself, CEO/Designer of Fisker Automotive and auto industry legend, who was on hand to lend his support to the cause and raise awareness for autism.
Donations were accepted at the event with all proceeds from the Supercar Charity Drive benefitting the Autism Society of BC (www.autismbc.ca)
“The Autism Society of BC is a non-profit organization that is near and dear to many of us here at Vision,” says Tom Napiontek, Director of Vision Investment Properties. “Our ultimate goal with the Charity Drive is to raise awareness for the Autism Society of BC and autism itself.”
The Luxury Supercar Weekend auto show is a social event of the season—a go-to event for Vancouver auto enthusiasts, collectors and buyers. With Vision’s Supercar Charity Drive situated at the entrance of the auto show, Vision Investment Properties was optimistic for a great turnout and success in raising awareness for autism, and was pleased to see results to this effect.
