Sep. 11, 2012 - The Legacy at Preston Hollow, a family service-oriented community, celebrated Labor Day weekend with none other than Elvis Presley. With a “shake, rattle and roll,” the impersonator entertained a crowd of residents and guests during a celebration that included live entertainment and BBQ sliders prepared by Executive Chef Abe Pierson.
“We had an amazing turnout for our Labor Day celebration,”
said Jerry McDonald, executive director, The Legacy at Preston Hollow. “Our living room and patio were packed with residents and family members enjoying Elvis’ music and the chance to shake his hand. We all felt like we went back in time when Elvis started performing, and the residents experienced the same school-girl feelings as they did when they saw Elvis as kids. This was an event we will remember for a long time!”
“It was a marvelous show,” said Emma Gottlieb, resident, The Legacy at Preston Hollow. “It was the best performance of Elvis I have ever seen. He played old favorites like ‘Hound Dog,’ ‘All Shook Up’ and ‘Jailhouse Rock.”
