Information Balance announces ARM 4.5.0, the latest release of its flagship APM Software

Information Balance (IB) today announced yet another milestone in the development of its leading APM product, IB-Application Road Map (IB-ARM). IB-ARM Release 4.5.0 offers a new, proprietary, function-rich diagramming facility, a number of new features that provide direct support to Application Modernization initiatives, and complete support for the AS/400 platform.

“The new Diagramming Facility enables us to provide state-of-the-art visualization of component relationships, program and data structures and a myriad of specific repository content without having to rely on third-party software” says Gabor Szirmak, President. “The facility offers all the advanced features that one would expect from contemporary diagramming tools, and is seamlessly bundled with the ARM software.”

Release V4.5.0 incorporates several additional enhancements into the product:

- New Dashboard features to support application modernization initiatives:
  o Application Overview (a top-down, summary view of all applications)
  o Duplicate / Cloned Code; Missing/Unreferenced Components
  o Dead Code Analysis; Database Complexity Analysis
- Complete AS/400 platform coverage, including all popular programming and  control languages, databases and job schedulers
- Support for popular ETL tools: Cognos Data Manager, CA Advantage Data Transform Mapper, CA-Inforefiner, Informatica, DataStage
- Support for Firefox and Google Chrome

Version 4 will continue to receive further improvements via a couple of additional releases in Q4 2012. Version 5 will bring a completely revamped user interface, currently planned for Q2 2013.
