Security Conference “Crisis on Campus and Cyber Security” Sept 17 & 18 2012 Jacksonville FL

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 11, 2012 - InfraGard Jacksonville announced today its annual security conference “Crisis on Campus” including school and physical location security crisis management and emergency notification technologies and “Cyber Security” including computer and network security this September 17-18, 2012 at University of North Florida.  The 2012 conference will focus on school and campus Security as well as infrastructure and computer security.

Speakers at the conference include a long list of high profile security leaders.  The annual Jacksonville Infragard Security Conference is organized by the Jacksonville Chapter of InfraGard, a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) public / private partnership program dedicated to promoting information sharing between the public and private sectors regarding critical infrastructure protection issues.

The goal of InfraGard is to enable the flow of information so that the owners and operators of infrastructure assets can better protect themselves and so that the United States government can better discharge its law enforcement and national security responsibilities.

Confirmed speakers include FBI and Law enforcement officers, University Professors and Security consultants, Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) speakers, and a speaker from the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA).  The 2012 Security Conference follows the successful 2011 Cybersecurity Awareness Showcase which Infragard Jacksonville held in conjunction with the University of North Florida (UNF), the Jacksonville Chapter of ISACA and the Northeast Florida Chapter of ISSA.
