“All roads will lead to Dubai Festival City as we wait to see who will emerge victorious in the country’s first ever FX Trading Championships,” said Walid Ead, Director, Stayconnected. Amidst the impact left behind by the recent economic downturn, the Middle East in general and the UAE in particular, has strongly emerged as one of the world’s most active trading markets. Today’s event not only seeks to showcase the immense talent of our investment traders but to also give them the opportunity to meet up with the world’s leading investment pro’s and economists.”

Iskandar Najjar, CEO Alpari ME DMCC commented: “The UAE is at the forefront of the Forex and commodities trading industry in the region, and is witnessing exceptional rates of growth in a short space of time. Such unprecedented growth rates mean it is critical for prominent industry leaders to gather and discuss the trends and issues that may affect further growth.  We are therefore proud to sponsor such a prestigious conference, bringing together the most influential figures in Forex and commodity trading in the Middle East.

“The FX Championship is also an innovative and exciting way of raising awareness of the online currency and commodity trading industry, and of the growing prominence of this relatively new component of investors’ diversified portfolios”, Najjar concluded.

The ‘1st UAE FX Trading Championship’ is being organized by Stayconnected in partnership with Alawsat for Economic Consultants. The event is also being mounted in cooperation with Alpari UK, FX Solutions (Official Sponsor), FXDD (Main Sponsor), Forex.com (Diamond Sponsor), ADSS (Gold Sponsor), ICM Capital UK (Silver Sponsor) and FXCM MENA (Co-sponsor).
