AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE 2010 – WINNERS Best Redeveloped premises – Exchange Hotel Townsville

Sept. 11, 2012 - PRLog -- Bede Hampton and Dallas Ryder, of Ryder Hampton, once again take out the honours at the QHA awards night.

The Awards for Excellence Gala Presentation & Dinner was held on Tuesday 9 November 2010, at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre. More than 1000 members and industry guests from all corners of the State came together to celebrate the achievements of Queensland hotels in 2010.

This hotel of the 1880’s is given a new lease of life and saved as an historic place by the innovative design concepts of Bede Hampton and Dallas Ryder of the Ryder Hampton group. The structure of the Hotel was re-engineered and all new systems meet the strictest energy conservation criterior.    

Awards won include 'Best Redeveloped Premises' and 'Best Themed Bar'. On the back of such success with the Exchange Hotel, the team at Ryder Hampton have been nominated to design a number of new projects throughout Australia, both commercial and residential.
