Florida's MMA Fight of 2012 in November

Sept. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- Howard Davis Jr.’s Fight Time Promotions will end its Fight Time Season on Friday, November 2nd, 2012 with what’s already being billed as the most anticipated MMA pro showdown in Florida of the year at the historic War Memorial Auditorium in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Fight Time 12 “Warriors Collide” features UFC  Veteran Vagner Rocha (record of 6-3) against American Top Team rising star – Mike Bruno (record of 10-4).  And, what makes this 3-round main event  MMA showdown a bit more intriguing; is that both men truly don’t like each other.

“There’s a history of bad blood between Vagner and Mike and we’d like to set the record straight in the cage,” said Howard Davis Jr., 1976 Boxing Olympic Gold Medalist and CEO of Fight Time Promotions.  “We want to go out with a bang as this is the last show of 2012 for us,” he added.

Bruno’s older brother – Steve (12-5) is also on the 10-fight MMA pro card.  “Hollywood” as he is known is a former UFC fighter and makes his second appearance in the Fight Time Promotions’ Cage.  He hopes to end his fight quickly in victory as he celebrates his birthday the following day.

“Steve wanted to be on the show again and we accepted him with open arms especially after the battle that he had on his last fight with us,” said Davis Jr.

This will be Howard Davis Jr.’s Fight Time Promotions 12th Mixed Martial Arts Professional Event and the company has already signed-on for another five shows in 2013.  

The year started off with one of the world’s top female MMA professional fighters - Jessica Aguilar - as the main event back in February.  2012 for Fight Time Promotions continued as UFC superstar Wilson Gouveia stepped into the Fight Time pro cage for Fight Time 9.  The vibe and energy at the Fight Time Promotions’ live events remained constant throughout the year with exciting fights from the toughest MMA fighters in Florida and beyond.

Fight Time 12 “Warriors Collide” will be the shows of all shows and will end the verbal battle between Rocha and Bruno once and for all!
