Valued for it's architectural & historical significance, this is the oldest Church still standing in El Dorado County & longest continually occupied Parish west of the Mississippi since it's construction in 1865. Built w/ support from the community of Miners, Masons, Store Owners, & Saloon keepers, the building is again in need of local help to sustain it's architectural integrity & reinforcement of it's majestic stain glass windows. The original bell, cast in 1850, can still be heard through the hills of Placerville. End
