Rock Star! An Eva Heart, Vampire Slayer Novel

Sept. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- “Hello New York City!” Here, we go!

We had sold out the Radio City Music Hall with fake Justin Whatshisname tickets. Suckers!  

The jumbo LCD screen behind me glimmered in pink with the words ‘Eva’s Coming Out Party!’

“What? I don’t look like Justin! Well that sexy man will not be here tonight. But that’s okay. You get me, Eva Heart, your friendly neighborhood vampire slayer, and I am just as pretty!” Yeah, friendly now that vampires were legal, registered voters. And I am extremely attractive, all Fairies are.

The fairies also came out shortly after the vampires. The two groups don’t see eye to eye, but even though I am the true Vampire Slayer and only half human, half fairy, I have the ability to tolerate vampires.

My popularity also grew when I became head of security for the Vampire King of New York. I know, kind of cliché, a vampire slayer working for a vampire, but that’s the world now, you have to adapt to survive. That would be why I was smiling into a camera while walking the Radio City Music Hall runway, evolution.

“And for all of you at home, go ahead, try changing the channel, this show is going to be all that you see for the next hour. So sit back and relax. But not you in the audience, because we are going to rock!”

Fireworks shot out around me, and I rocked the hall with my music and dance show. My tumbling skill, due to my vampire slayer curse, allotted my performance to be hip hop dance. The company of dancers behind me followed along with back flips, front flips, flipping through the air, hand springing through the air and aerial splits.
The choreography was delivered perfectly, I’m sure we looked phenomenal.

The audience roar confirmed my intuition. I sang and danced, the one thing on earth I loved to do just as much as killing vampires. Sad, I’m sad, I know.

Animals of all different types walked around the stage. Now that the vamps were out and associated in the world, the Shifters and Weres decided it was their turn.

The event had been in the works for years and since fairy’s hate me, (they’re jealous because I am so cute! And only a half blood) I keep my friendships limited to humans and shifters. So the shifters asked me to help with the coming out party.

Well, actually, the true story is that in college, Lyca, a Werelion, who I had relations with, one night, mind you, asked me to help with the coming out party because he knew I was talented, (we were in Drama class together) and I was supernatural, another plus.

Speaking of Lionboy, he walked sauntered passed a couple of times, as a lion. I smiled at him, and he roared. I was guessing the audience assumed I was just a crazy Rock Star with exotic animals in my show. Aren’t they going to be surprised.
