Black Bag Productions wins Wedding Industry Experts 2012 Best Wedding Planner Award

Oct. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- Laurel, MD - Black Bag Productions, a full service event planning company based in Laurel, Maryland proudly announces they have been named Best Wedding Planner in Laurel MD and a Finalist statewide for the first Wedding Industry Experts Awards.  The awards are an annual competition recognizing some of the most popular wedding vendors at a local, national and international level.

Voting commenced on August 13th, and concluded on August 31st.  Each vendor had their own vote page that showed the category they were nominated for and a description of their business.  There were 33 categories in total including everything from Best Accessories to Best Wedding Planner.  

It was easy for people to participate by having a simple button on each vendor’s page that they could click on to cast their vote. The vendor with the most votes in their category and location won.  The awards have given past clients, peers and friends a chance to support vendors who give outstanding service or provide quality products.

"Needless to say, I was honored to have been named "Best" in my area and a finalist in the top three for the state," said Moss who is a certified wedding planner through the American Academy of Wedding Professionals and publishes an online magazine, Black Bag Bridal, (www.blackbagbridal.com) with columns and stories geared toward encore brides, brides over age 40 and brides of color.  

Beginning this fall, Black Bag Productions is partnering with another Wedding Industry Experts award winner, Marie Crawford's Bridal, to host Wedding Wednesday happy hours at Crawford's Frederick Maryland bridal boutique.  The first one is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, October 17 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.  Noted Moss and Crawford, "it will be an offer for brides too good to miss!  A free happy hour, the opportunity to meet with two certified wedding planners, who are also Wedding Industry Expert award winners, try on and purchase gowns at special Wedding Wednesday pricing and much more.  The first 20 brides receive a special swag bag with coupons and other gifts just for coming to the store, as well as planning their wedding in a stress free environment."
