iSimple® Releases New Bluetooth Car Kit for iPhone and iPad

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 10, 2012 - Tampa Bay, FL – iSimple® (www.isimplesolutions.com) today introduced the latest in its line of TranzIt™ universal car kits with the introduction of  the TranzIt BLU for iPhone and iPad (ISFM22). Combining an FM modulator with a powerful Bluetooth® receiver and a downloadable App, the TranzIt BLU offers high-quality, wireless audio streaming in virtually any vehicle from an iPod, iPhone or iPad.

The iSimple TranzIt BLU (MSRP: $129.95) was created specifically for this market; allowing iPod, iPhone and iPad owners to wirelessly play music from their device through their car’s factory or aftermarket stereo. Because there are no docking connectors or audio cables, there is nothing to clutter up the dash or center console. And, because it is an installed, direct-connect kit that supports A2DP Bluetooth streaming, the quality of audio playback is excellent.    

Operating the ISFM22 is straightforward: the consumer simply activates Bluetooth on his/her Android device, selects an empty channel on the radio, finds the same channel using the iSimple TranzIt BLU Apple App (free on iTunes App Store), and presses play on the device’s media player or an Internet radio station of choice.

One main advantage of the TranzIt BLU is that it uses no proprietary connections to connect to the iPhone or iPad. This means that the rumors of a possible 19-pin connector on future iOS devices would have no impact on TranzIt BLU owners.  

According to iSimple Senior Product Manager, Scott Rothstein, “Sure, I’ve been following the rumors about a possible new phone or a 7-inch tablet with a smaller connector. But, unless Apple surprises the world with an entirely new way of transmitting wireless data, end-users with a TranzIt BLU won’t have any issues with a smaller connector.”

Like its predecessors – the TranzIt BLU for Android (ISFM21) – the ISFM22 kit consists of a signal interrupt FM modulator that is installed in-line with the vehicle’s antenna. This modulator is paired with a powerful A2DP Bluetooth unit to establish a stable, wireless connection and premium sound quality. Also, the TranzIt BLU kit eliminates the “turn-on” button of its earlier cousins – the TranzIt (IS77) and TranzIt USB (IS32) – with the introduction of a signal-sensing bypass that activates when audio playback is detected.
