Tech-Crete's Penetrating Concrete Sealant now available on GSA Advantage

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 10, 2012 - Last week, Tech-Crete's Radcon Formula 7, in both 20 liter pails and 200 liter drums, became available for no-bid purchasing by government agencies through GSA Advantage.  Radcon Formula #7 ®, a biochemically modified sodium silicate solution provides long-term waterproofing and durability benefits to concrete. It penetrates into concrete and reacts with free calcium and water to form a water soluble calcium silicate hydrate gel complex in cracks, pores and capillaries.
This gel creates a sub-surface barrier against the ingress of water and contaminants such as chlorine ions. As Radcon Formula #7 ®* delivers a lifetime of concrete waterproofing while preventing salt ingress and freeze-thaw degradation, it offers major cost savings for both new infrastructure work and renovation activities.
Tech-Crete, LLC is classified as service-disabled veteran owned disadvantaged small business which is a focus area for GSA in meeting goals for small business and set-aside contracting and subcontracting in this fiscal year.
By becoming a listed vendor on the GSA Advantage website, Tech-Crete will be more visible to procurement agents in all of the federal government agencies that do their sourcing through the Multiple Award Schedules program. This program not only promotes small businesses, but is also a more streamlined contracting vehicle for government-wide purchasing.
