About the paintings
Each vibrant painting depicts a zodiac symbol, created in that sign’s trademark colors on premium watercolor paper. Except for Gemini, which has straight edges to echo that sign’s structure-like symbol, Nordhaus-Bike noted that “each of my paintings features hand-torn edges to highlight the paper’s rich texture while serving as a reminder that each sign of the zodiac is incomplete by itself because it is part of a much larger whole—just as each individual is part of a larger humanity.”
