PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 9, 2012 - Twenty-three year old childhood survivor ITP survivorTommy Head is the Founder of Childhood Cancer Society, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. Since its inception he has raised thousands of dollars and has helped dozens of families struggling with childhood cancer. It is his ambition to expand this mission across the country and touch the lives of as many families facing this struggle as possible.To help achieve this goal, he has written a children’s book "Rudy Comes to Play" (100% of proceeds donated to the Childhood Cancer Society) to effectively raise additional funds for his organization and to serve as a source of inspiration for children who are suffering. Tommy Head is Founder of Childhood Cancer Society; is a professional actor/author; NYU Stern Graduate; and a friend and loved one to many.
