First Presbyterian Church of Mount Clemens Christian Education Department Host Family "Rally Sunday"

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 9, 2012 - Mount Clemens, MI August 10, 2012, First Presbyterian Church of Mount Clemens  continues to reach the community they serve through a plethora of programs and services. Rally Sunday has a full morning of fun and information for both children and their parents.

8:30   Petting Zoo Open/ Parents register students.

9:00    Morning Glory Worship
          Children at Petting Zoo, Face Painting of Animals, Legos—making animals,
Clay for making animals, Pipecleaner animals.  Go into the Morning Glory Worship at the end of the service (9:35—be downstairs to show off art creations and painted faces)
Youth help with the activities during 9:00 a.m.  


9:45   Sunday School
    Petty Zoo Open, Face Painting of animals on Faces, Crafts—Legos, Clay and
Pipecleaners of animals; Books of animals; Coloring Sheets;
Fun Biblical Game about guessing the stories in the Bible about Animals.
   Parents register for Adult Education/ Choirs/ Arts Academy in Parlor
Parents register children/youth for Sunday School at outside table or
in Fellowship Hall

10:00   Parent Meeting in Fellowship Hall-
   Explanation of Sunday School Curriculum.
   Strategy on how to navigate Sunday Morning Schedule
   Explanation of Activities at 9:00 Worship and 10:30 Worship
   Introduction of Sunday School Teachers and Artsy Bible Activity Instructors for
   activity after Children’s Message (10:30 Traditional Worship)
   Explanation of Wednesday Night Program; Fall Season Schedule and Adult      Classes

10:30   All Children, attending Traditional Worship,  sit with their parents
in worship or with Ms. Angela.
   All Youth sit with Ms. Angela and have animal puppets for the Children’s Message
10:45   Children’s Message
11:00   Children leave with Ms. Angela and Youth to go to Petting Zoo.
   Animal Games led by youth and game people

11:30   Petting Zoo Open/ Face Painting
     
12:30    The Event ends.
