Local training facility to offer service members discounted training.

Sept. 9, 2012 - PRLog -- In remembrance of September 11th, 2001, Statewide Protection Associates will offer a NRA FIRST Steps Pistol Course for the men and women who served our country and their spouses. Any current or prior service member (Military, Law Enforcement, Medic, or Firefighter) and or their spouses are eligible to register at a special discounted rate of $37.50 for this class. Normal cost of class is set as $75.00. This price is only offered once per year. This class will enable the student to understand the basics of firearm safety, mechanics, and marksmanship. All students will participate in classroom portion as well as range portion to successfully complete course. This course satisfies the requirements to obtain the Concealed Firearms License in the State of Florida. Class date will be October 20th 2012. Registrations will be open until September 30th, 2012 at midnight. To register, please email training@statewideprotection.net. Please be sure to include either proof of service or proof that you are a spouse of a service member. All credentials will be reviewed.
