4th Annual Employer Healthcare & Benefits Congress Announces Winners of VIP Ocean Suite Giveaway

The 4th Annual Employer Healthcare & Benefits Congress (EHBC) is pleased to announce the winning recipients of an Employer and Broker VIP Pass at the 2012 conference taking place on the beach, October 24th-26th in Ft. Lauderdale/Miami.

 
PRLog - Sep. 8, 2012 - The annual Congress announced an opportunity for Human Resource professionals and brokers/agents to tell the Employer Healthcare & Benefits Congress why the new EHBC Specialist Certification Programs were critical for the employer healthcare and benefits industry.  

The Employer Healthcare & Benefits Congress explains the significance of their specialist designations by stressing the immediate demand for industry knowledge. “In a world where expertise is the key to success, lower cost and improving business processes and career advancement, the Specialist Certifications provide the opportunity for HR and insurance professionals to set themselves apart from others and show their commitment to their field of specialty.  Employers and Corporations who are looking for innovation will have a new resource of HR professionals and insurance agents who have become certified in Healthcare Reform, Voluntary Benefits, Corporate Wellness and Self Funding.  The insurance industry is changing and professionals within it need to adapt and rise to the top.  These will be the new standards in the HR and Insurance industry.

Many employers and  brokers/agents submitted well thought responses on the importance for professionals to seek specialist certification in the following areas; Healthcare Reform, Corporate Wellness, Voluntary Benefits and Self Funding.

The HR Professionals chosen for an Employer VIP Pass were Joseph Callahan, PH.D, Chief Wellness Officer of Amarillo National Bank and Sue Furlan, Benefits/HRIS Manager with Culligan International.  
Callahan’s submission focused on the critical need for the Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist R designation because “Corporate wellness is no longer an emerging trend. It is a way of conducting business.”

With the amount quality of broker/agent submissions the EHBC received, a second Broker/ Agent VIP Pass was presented to Anthony Smith, Client Advisor and Managing Director with Smith Wealth & Insurance Management.
