Chords-of-Truth
Over the course of the next 8 weeks they planned out plotlines, collected clips and images, and shot new footage to create videos that effectively captured the essence of the music.
There were a lot of possibilities to work with as Chords of Truth’s music deals with deep spiritual, scientific and cultural concepts and they had seven songs to work with. Therefore this resulted in a diverse collection of music video styles and ideas to represent the songs.
Some of the videos use a narrative/scripted style while others used time-lapse and powerful imagery to create the mood. The winner used the lyrics in the song to create clever imagery that almost puts you in a trance as you try to absorb the concepts in the song.
The results were announced on September 6, 2012 and in the end everyone that entered the contest became a winner.
