Sept. 8, 2012 - PRLog -- Crosby Noricks, Author of "The PR Couture Guide to Breaking into Fashion PR" encourages #TheSalt Viewers to create the life they desire. "It doesn't usually make sense to wait for permission, it's best to create your own stuff and to figure out what you want your life to be like and to do that as much as possible on your own terms and by surrounding yourself with the stuff that makes you happy," says Noricks. After two years managing the in-house PR and marketing department for an e-commerce jewelry company and fresh out of grad school with a killer Master's thesis about fashion PR eagerly awaiting a lifetime of dust-on-shelf gathering, Crosby Noricks started PR Couture. She was tired of the stereotype that fashion publicists are more concerned with air-kisses than credibility (boo!) and frustrated that a google search on Fashion PR brought back pretty much zilch (this was back in 2006 you see). Noricks threw together the basics in a weekend, determined to provide a credible, honest, and engaging forum about fashion public relations online. "We were extremely excited about our interview with Crosby. As I interview Artists and Creatives on #TheSalt I want to really push people to identify and begin operating in their creative gifts. Often, people don't view themselves as creative if their gift does not fit within the realm of the arts. Who said creativity was limited to the arts? It's not. Crosby Noricks is the perfect example of a gifted Creative. She is a techie, PR Professional, author and clearly a very savvy business woman." #TheSalt is a video blog hosted by Creativity Ainta Side Hustle at http://www.creativityaintasidehustle.com/our-blog-thesalt/ Creative Director,  Krishna Darlene says, "We were really looking to do something interesting for our company blog. We chose not to use the platform to brag and showcase our work. After a bit of brainstorming we had an 'Aha moment!' - - we need to engage incredible Artists and Creatives who launched successful creative and artistic startup companies and share their stories. Often, all it takes is a clear picture of people who chose to go for it, activate their gift(s) and make their dream real; then it somehow becomes conceivable, that we can do it too!" Every Wednesday, Krishna interviews Professional Creatives who launched successful companies and are making a living using their creative gift(s). Each interviewee is asked five open-ended questions and the interviews last for fifteen minutes.
