The new web site design has a dramatically improved look and feel. It takes advantage of many Web 2.0 features like gradient colors.
An online design competition was held for the development of both the logo and the website. More than 250 designers from all over the world participated in submitting designs that were compared against the jTask creative brief and evaluated by the marketing team. The web site contest followed the logo contest, so that the web site design could artistically incorporate the company’s new log.
jTask VP Operations Mario Cristiani said, “The logo is a great improvement on our previous visual presence. People can now clearly see what our company name is from the logo itself. We will be making many more improvements to the website in the upcoming months.”
A button version of the logo, derived from the full sized logo, was created by the jTask in house designer for use on sites and venues that require a smaller square logo and need to have the company name spelled out. The logo and new web site design feature rich gradients of deep blue and reddish-orange. The web site takes these colors and uses them to present the textual content, images and other design elements that present the jTask new brand to the public tastefully.
The design features a scrolling image on the home page at http://jtask.com . Each picture on the home page links to one of other pages in the site that include About, Services, Products, Resources and Careers.
