Guardtime Names Jeffrey Pearce Director of Intellectual Property

Sept. 8, 2012 - PRLog -- Palo Alto, CA (USA), September 06, 2012 -- Guardtime ( http://www.guardtime.com ), inventors of Keyless Signature Infrastructure (KSI), the web-scale digital signature system for electronic data, today announced it has appointed Jeffrey Pearce as Director of Intellectual Property, effective immediately.

Mr. Pearce has more than 25 years of experience handling all aspects of intellectual property at law firms in Europe and the USA as well as in-house in multinational USA, German and Chinese companies.  While managing the IP program at VMware, he wrote key patents for the company’s highly profitable modern virtual machine technology.  Jeff has a first degree in Mathematics from the University of Uppsala, an M.Sc. in Aeronautical Engineering/Control Systems from KTH - Kungliga tekniska högskolan -  (Royal Institute of Technology), Stockholm, Sweden, and a JD from UCLA School of Law.
