New Board President Joins Rebuilding Together Howard County

Sept. 8, 2012 - PRLog -- COLUMBIA, Maryland. – Rebuilding Together Howard County announced today that Guy Silas is the new board president.  Silas, a Vice President at Sandy Spring Bank. brings to the table  years of experience as a Rebuilding Together House Captain and joined the board of directors in 2011.   Previously, Silas headed up the Outreach Committee, in charge of developing strategies to engage sponsors and identify low income clients.  Silas replaces the outgoing president, John Startt.  John will continue as a member at large of the executive committee.

In addition, three new board members joined this summer. Doug Hillmuth, President and CEO of Hillmuth Certified Automotive Inc., joined the board in August. Also, new to the board of directors is Mimi O’Donnell, Owner O’Donnell Consulting.  Ms. O’Donnell joined in July.  Finally, Brian Spirt, President Weather Master Custom Windows, became a member in June.
