Voting Has Begun for the 7th Annual 2013 Sleeter Group's Awesome Application Awards

Sept. 7, 2012 - PRLog -- The Sleeter Group is glad to announce that voting for our Seventh Annual Awesome Applications Awards is now open.

Each year we review new and updated cloud, online and mobile solutions designed to help accountants support their small business clients in ways unimaginable just a few short years ago. The Awesome Awards are an opportunity for both established and new developers to submit their applications to be recognized for their commitment to improving small business processes, productivity and overall success.  

What's New for 2013?
This year our format has changed so we can allow voting by the accounting community in addition to our expert panel.   Also, we have posted short (and entertaining!) videos of each nominee’s product. All a visitor has to do is go to our 2013 Awesome Awards website, view the video shorts, and “vote” for those applications they feel are truly “Awesome”.  We expect to generate thousands of votes for the Awesome Awards nominees.
•   Voting begins September 7, 2012
•   Visitors can vote once a day, every day through September 28, 2012!

Award Selection Process
The selection process involves two stages: voting by the accounting community (50%) and voting by a panel of experts led by Doug Sleeter, President of The Sleeter Group (50%). The criteria for selection as a winner include one or more benefits of the following:
•   Productivity, Efficiency, Mobile device, Connectivity, Collaboration

Partial list of nominated products from: AccuCode, Agiliron, Beyond Software, BQE Software, Bill.com, CallPro, Chrometa, Cloud9 Realtime, Concur, Intuit, NumberCruncher, Penergy Technology, Sage, SmartVault, Xero, Z-Firm and Zoho.

2013 Awesome Application Award winners will announced at The Sleeter Group’s 2012 Accounting Solutions Conference - to be held October 22-24, 2012 in Anaheim, CA (as well as on our website, in our newsletter and in the CPA Practice Advisor Magazine).
