MED-Q A Brand New Way A Medication Reminder Pill Box Works

Sept. 7, 2012 - PRLog -- MED-Q  is a New Medication Reminder Pill Box for caregivers. Past pill boxes are just a plastic box with the  seven days of the week printed on top. MED-Q challenge was to redesigned the Pillbox concept from the ground up to eliminate forgetting and errors.

Inventor, Lee DeMar went to RN's and LPN's for market research. He interviewed hundreds and hundreds of RN's and LPN's .  The goal was to find out the problems people who were dealing with it each and every day. Forgetting and mistakes was the Number One and Number Two biggest problems. Nurses had express much frustration with their patients.  They spoke of getting people healthy and sending them home, only to have them return from medication mistakes.


Med-Q solved the forgetting  problem  with a visual reminder and an audio reminder.. Program the exact times and the MED-Q 's  alarms  keeps beeping and flashing until the user hears it .   The flashing is in the individual pill box for the specific day.    The audio alarm is a loud beeping that can be heard through out the house.  The dual alarms means no worry about taking the wrong pills.
