Southwest Airlines Partners with St. Louis and Kansas City based Nonprofit, Connections to Success

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 7, 2012 - Connections to Success, a nonprofit organization based in St. Louis and Kansas City, is proud to announce its new partnership with Southwest Airlines, the ‘Official Airline of Connections to Success’. Connections to Success specializes in helping individuals break out of the poverty cycle by providing hope, resources and a plan. With Southwest Airlines’ support, Connections to Success will continue to expand its impact by growing into new communities and introducing people to its various programs that include GED and job skills trainings, transportation assistance, ongoing personal and professional development classes, life-long mentorship and more.

In addition to Connections to Success’ already existing budget of $1.8 million for 2012, Southwest Airlines will be supplementing their resources by donating airline tickets.  These tickets will be used to support Connections to Success fundraising efforts. Southwest Airlines will also be supporting the organization’s causes by sending representatives to various Connections to Success events such as Tribute to Success: A Celebration of Women, the Power Walk 5k, which takes place in both St. Louis and Kansas City, Missouri, and Black Dress Red Tie fundraisers.
