The Better Business Bureau of Eastern Michigan Announces Online Military Discount Directory

Sept. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- Southfield, MI – September 10, 2012 – The Better Business Bureau (BBB) Serving Detroit & Eastern Michigan (http://easternmichigan.bbb.org/) announced today that the availability of their online Military Discount Directory (http://easternmichbbb.tumblr.com/post/31268075155/better-business-bureau-2012-military-discount-directory).

This directory features discount offers on products and services from more than 50 businesses that are accredited by the Better Business Bureau serving Eastern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula. These businesses have graciously offered the noted discounts to military members, veterans and their families through December 31, 2012.

“In line with Governor Snyder’s call for Michigan businesses to assist our military members, we created this directory to ease the financial burden of our troops and their families. We are proud of our accredited businesses who have stepped up to offer their services to help,” said Melanie Duquesnel, president and CEO of the Better Business Bureau serving Eastern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula. “Our BBB extends a sincere thank you to all current military members, veterans and their families. This directory is but a small token of appreciation of your service and sacrifices.”

The BBB Military Directory consists of BBB accredited businesses with offers in fourteen different categories, including financial, automotive, construction and healthcare services. The Directory will continue to grow throughout the year and plans for a 2013 Directory are currently in development.
