In Siena, semester programs will be offered at the Siena School for Liberal Arts, where students will study Italian language and take electives in English. In Sorrento, summer and semester programs will be offered at Sant’Anna Institute Sorrento Lingue, where students can also study Italian language and take electives in English. Both locations offer students the opportunity to intern at local businesses in order to complement their studies with hands-on experience. ASA’s program in Venice is in cooperation with Lorenzo de’Medici, a well-known institution where students will study Humanities and Studio Arts with an emphasis on Italian language.
“We are very excited to announce these new programs and partnerships with these institutions in Italy,” said ASA Director Lee Frankel. “We want our students to have successful and enjoyable experiences abroad, and we feel that these programs will give our students the opportunity to grow academically and personally, while at the same time improving their Italian language skills.”
Today, being able to speak another language is a great asset for students as they graduate college and begin searching for jobs. ASA is proud to help students attain their professional goals while expanding their worldview and giving them a once in a lifetime experience.
