Sept. 7, 2012 - PRLog -- It isn’t often that Bill Le Duc, the WebUndies.com mascot, gets out of the company’s Cranford, NJ, headquarters. But this summer, during WebUndies’ “Where is Bill Le Duc?” contest, Bill – who traveled as a 5-1/2 inch tall car magnet – logged thousands of miles and was photographed in some cool and interesting vacation spots. His travels are now the subject of a video that can be viewed at http://youtu.be/D5k5Gkvr_XU.

Internet retailer WebUndies.com (http://www.WebUndies.com) is known for its fun boxer shorts, underwear and pajamas, as well as its kitschy, friendly attitude. “We were so pleased that our customers and Facebook fans took Bill on the road with them this summer,” says Terri Hunsinger, partner at WebUndies.com. “We put together a fun video from all of Bill’s stops so that we could share all the photos posted on our Facebook page.”

Bill joined his fans and customers on their summer vacations both near and far. “We were pretty excited that he visited Nanaimo, British Columbia; Penrith, Australia; Phuket, Thailand, and so many U.S. towns and cities,” says Hunsinger.

The WebUndies Spokes-Duck also got to meet other famous ducks, such as the Duck Donuts (Kill Devil Hills, NC) and Duck Deli BBQ Restaurant (New Britain, PA) mascots. He traveled on a motorcycle in Suffolk County, NY, and by limo in Las Vegas, NV. A map showing all of Bill’s stops is at http://www.webundies.com/Bill_migration.html.

At the end of the “Where is Bill Le Duc?” contest, fans had the opportunity to vote for their favorite photo in a Facebook poll. “The competition among 4 or 5 of the photos was pretty intense, but then the photo of Bill with a friend at the West Virginia windmills surged ahead in the poll,” says Hunsinger. The fan who posted the winning photo received a $100 WebUndies shopping spree. The runner-up received a $25 gift certificate to say “thanks” for her enthusiasm.

Bill loved travelling and isn’t quite ready to return home. “Although the contest is over, Bill’s fans can still post photos of him to our Facebook page. We’d love to see how he spends the holiday with his friends and fans,” says Hunsinger. Those interested in receiving a free Bill Le Duc magnet can get one, while supplies last, by sending their name and address to bill@webundies.com.

“Bill really wants to become the next Facebook and YouTube star,” laughs Hunsinger.
