“The Gold Rush”, Supporting Equine Therapy For Pediatric Cancer Patients And Their Families

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 6, 2012 - ODESSA,FL- Makayla’s Hands on Horses, an Equine Therapy program designed to improve the quality of life for pediatric cancer patients, pediatric cancer survivors and their family members has been developed by Quantum Leap Farm and the 1Voice Foundation.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month. Gold is the official color of Childhood Cancer. Proceeds from The Gold Rush will directly benefit Makayla’s Hands on Horses and provide programs for families dealing with pediatric cancer.

Saturday, September 29, 2012, Quantum Leap Farm, 10401 Woodstock Rd., Odessa, FL 33556

6:00 pm – 7:00 pm Cocktail Hour, 7:00 pm Dinner, 8:00 pm Music and Dancing provided by Ocean Road Band. An evening of delicious country fixings’, bon fire and Country Store goodies.

Tickets are $75.00 for individual and $125 for couples. Sponsorship opportunities are available and tax deductible. Opportunity to interview parents participating in the program can be scheduled during the event.

1Voice Foundation provides family support programs for pediatric cancer families while raising awareness and funding for pediatric cancer research. We are launching an initiative to open the first school in the US for children with cancer.

Quantum Leap Farm a comprehensive equine therapies and retreat center, provides therapeutic horseback riding and other rehabilitative or recreational programs for kids and adults.
