ByWater Solutions completed the migration for the Grand County Public Library in July and will be providing ongoing support and hosting services for them.
The Grand County Public Library offers a collection of over 45,000 books, over 5,500 movies and audio books and over 750 music CDs.
Adrea Lund, Head of Adult Services, commented on their decision to migrate to Koha with support from ByWater:
“The Grand County Public Library is excited to now be using Koha 3.8 for our ILS and we are looking forward to regular code updates as ByWater partners. The migration team was absolutely wonderful and helped us resolve problems which had prevented us from upgrading with our previous Koha support provider. Thank you ByWater!”
Brendan Gallager, CEO of ByWater stated:
“We are thrilled to have the chance to partner with Adrea and the staff of Grand County Public Library. One of the beauties of using an open source product is the ease at which you can change the vendor who supports you and the fact that in many cases you can do so without further cost to you. We will be working very hard to keep the Grand County Public Library happy for a long time to come.”
