Black Bag Productions Celebrates Third Anniversary on Blog Talk Radio - The Roundtable Returns!

Black Bag Productions' Kim Moss debuted her online radio show on Blog Talk Radio three years ago and will celebrate the third anniversary featuring a blue-ribbon Wedding Wednesdays panel discussing the holiday season and what is ahead for 2013.

Sept. 6, 2012 - PRLog -- Laurel, MD - Black Bag Productions, a full service event planning company based in Laurel, Maryland never thought when they announced their online radio show based on Blog Talk Radio three years ago that some 11,000 plus on demand and live listens later, they would be celebrating their third birthday.  Continuing with the most popular on demand show, the wedding expert panel.  "This is an opportunity to hear from wedding industry experts what to do when planning, what's hot this year and what's trending for 2013" says Moss, who also serves as the show host.  " I love the panel because even though I'm a certified wedding planner, I learn something too, so its perfect for brides and wedding professionals."

The show has featured a wide variety of guests and launched two recurring series, Wedding Wednesdays and Travel Thursdays; both launched in the spring and summer of 2010 respectively.  The panel for the anniversary show features professionals from various areas of wedding planning expertise including celebrity florist Angie Zimmerman, Jamal Lee of Breasia Studios, Deborah McCoy of the American Academy of Wedding Professionals, Cindy McClure of Dress the Drink, Gina Lett of Inspirations by Gina, and officiant Celia Milton will join the discussion.  Previous guests have included both local and national professionals including Bougie Magazine, Arries Media, Events to a T, A Monique Affair, The Man Registry, Weddzilla, Gisele Perez, Dress the Drink, Wildflower Linens, Helene Weinberg, award-winning cosmetic dentist Dr. Lynn Locklear, UNCF, Fitzy Ice Sculptors, Washington DC based vocalists Carrie Creed, Melody Gamble, David North and a host of others.  The debut show aired on November 16, 2009 and has continued to strive to bring listeners a little bit of everything in the way of events, interviews, inspiration and fun.   Moss said the idea to start the show sprang from a discussion she had with an online Facebook friend and took it from there.  “The goal of the radio show “says Moss “is to give listeners tips and trick on planning special events and what it’s like behind the scenes of planning an event from start to finish.  What are the best questions to ask, how you get the best for your dollar and more.  Everyone thinks its poof magic – little do they know it’s a lot of hard work and planning!”  Moss laughs that even her volunteers who have worked with her for a few years were surprised at just how much work and organization it took to pull off an event.  “Now they have a new appreciation and respect for events they attend and can pick out the details the average person doesn’t even notice.”

Listeners may call in or sign in to the online chat room during the live show and it has proven to be an excellent opportunity for listeners to get a new view on some standard subjects.  Originally, the show aired live at least three times each month and once the guest list started to grow, the concept of doing a weekly series came about.  The show  returns to air weekly on Wednesdays and Thursdays this fall and any other days the guest does not fit into the wedding or travel category. Previous guests have commented on how they were initially nervous until they started talking and became relaxed due to the nature of host Kim Moss’ easygoing style and questions.  Wedding Wednesdays has been a highly successful series and this year we have plans to broadcast the show live at least once a quarter to expand the wedding series.  Moss noted "that the launch of our online bridal magazine, Black Bag Bridal has been received very well and we're going to host a holiday event this year to promote the Holiday 2012 issue."  Archives of the previous shows can be found on the company website, Facebook page and show page on www.blogtalkradio.com/blackbagproductions anytime after a live show has aired.
