Mark Mearin Motorcycle Safety Tip

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 6, 2012 - Mark Mearin is an advocate for motorcycle safety and wants the educate riders as well as the public when it comes to motorcycle safety.  Every year there are motorcycle fatalities that could have been prevented just with the basic knowledge of awareness.  While in Cape Cod, Mark mearin noticed signs on many of the highway that read "Look out for motorcycles".  Bumper stickers throughout the country read the same phrase.  
Safety tip one for riders is to always keep your bike in gear while stopped at a traffic light.  In Phoenix, Az not to long ago a group of motorcycle riders were parked at a red light when a city truck plowed into the group from behind.  That was a very sad day for the motorcycle community world wide.  Tragedy can strike in an instant.   Mark Mearin can't stress enough for riders to not only keep their bike in gear but to also constantly be checking their mirrors for rapidly approaching vehicles.  In the Phoenix fatalities that took place the driver of the truck that hit the small group was found to be impaired.  Always keep your bike in gear and always check your mirrors.  Any edge the rider has can save his or her life.  This has been a public service announcement from Mark Mearin.
