The Story of a ‘miracle cream’

The daily physical trauma resulted in cuts, abrasions and burns. Dr. Stewart, a local GP, found it was difficult to treat patients successfully with what was available, so he began a quest to find a solution, a skin cream that would both calm and soothe.

After years of investigation and testing, he finally formulated a salve that proved to be a “miracle cream”.

Eventually Dr Stewart passed away and with him, it appeared, also his formula. However, years later, his granddaughter, Florence Mary - a nurse and qualified pharmacist - began searching for her grandfathers books to find the recipe for his famous ointment. Eventually she found it and began production of the “Miracle Cream”.
Like her grandfather, Florence used the cream locally with great success. Florence was advised to put it on the market, so other people could benefit and use the cream. Hence, FMS Skin Cream was named, marketed and distributed by Florence Mary Stewart.

The ‘Miracle Cream’ F.M.S is now available in the UK. It is now owned by Dr. Mary Staggs and uses the same formula as developed by Dr. Stewart in the 19th century. Therefore, over 100 years later it is still helping many people in the 21st century.
