As Australia’s most popular domestic travel location, the Gold Coast is renowned for it’s ‘Famous For Fun’ tag thanks to its amazing beaches, theme parks, and nightlife. However this new video guide series also focuses on natural features, creative enterprises and interesting events, and aims to show an upbeat yet contemporary view of the Gold Coast not often found in glossy brochures.
Each video in the series will feature music by some of Gold Coast’s finest up-and-coming underground bands, and the series will be hosted by Rabbit Radio digital presenter, Cassandra Nevin.
The series has launched with the release of three video tours; Burleigh Heads, Currumbin, and Nobby’s Beach. The Burleigh Heads video area guide takes in the gorgeous foreshore walks, beaches and colourful shops in Burleigh’s town centre. Currumbin’s video guide takes viewers on a journey from ocean to rainforest, with Currumbin’s rock pools and rock slide, Currumbin Alley and Elephant rock all featuring heavily. Meanwhile the video area guide for Nobby’s Beach takes in the eclectic array of cafes and stores found just metres from the beach.
The GoldCoastvideo.com website also offers a separate video guide to local attractions, business, events and services, and features videos produced by Gold Coast video production company Soul Arch Media for their clients across relevant industries. Soul Arch Media will be filming and editing new video area guides for additional suburbs in coming months that will be released on GoldCoastvideo.com
“Each area of the Gold Coast has its own unique feel, so the series aims to showcase that by taking viewers to more low-key and undercover attractions. The series will also take pride in featuring some of Gold Coast’s best up-and-coming alternative musicians in each video’s soundtrack to really promote the diverse and creative subculture that the Gold Coast enjoys yet rarely gets credit for,” said Soul Arch Media’s Carolyn Emge.
