Impulsa Hosts Group of Chilean Entrepreneurs

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 5, 2012 - September 5, 2012 – Impulsa Business Accelerator hosted a group of 7 Chilean entrepreneurs and small business owners on Wednesday, September 4th at Net.Workspace in San Francisco. The Impulsa team presented to the group about business acceleration best practices, and differences in business culture between the US and Chile.

The Chilean group is sponsored by the Greater San Jose Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and will be in the United States for 3 months to work as interns for the Chamber. They will also have the opportunity to explore new business opportunities, meet with investors and potential business partners, and gain an understanding of the Silicon Valley business environment. On Thursday, September 6th, the Chamber will also host a dinner reception for the entrepreneurs, with tickets available at gsjhcc.org.

The entrepreneurs are from a variety of industries, including technology, social media, agriculture, and entertainment backgrounds. All are members of the Mapuche culture, native to southern Chile and Argentina.
