PRLog - Sep. 5, 2012 - Sugar Land, TX – Hyperion Global Partners, a premier business and technology consulting practice to the legal profession, announces the addition of Mike Ferrara as Director to lead the consultancy’s new SharePoint Platform Services practice.

In this role, Ferrara is focused on delivering strategic approaches to revolutionize how law firms and legal departments leverage content management technologies and institutional knowledge.  The SharePoint Platform Services practice will focus on several key solution offerings, including strategic planning, systems assessment, infrastructure and capacity planning, information architecture, systems integration, workflow and automation, intranet and extranet design, and enterprise search.  With the addition of a SharePoint focused practice, Hyperion has developed a team capable of delivering broad strategic and technical solutions designed to maximize the return on Microsoft platform technology investments.

“I am very excited to be joining the Hyperion consultancy of experts. The new SharePoint Platform Services practice is aimed at helping clients to be more effective with technologies specifically designed to fit the way they work. These solutions fill a much needed void in legal, and provide solutions better than anything else yet available,” stated Ferrara.

Prior to joining Hyperion, Ferrara served as a Senior Consultant at iEnvision Technology, Inc. and GDSI, which was acquired by iEnvision in 2011. During his tenure at GDSI he was responsible for the delivery of more than fifty document management system implementations on Autonomy WorkSite and Microsoft SharePoint. As a thought leader, Ferrara architected and implemented the first US matter-centric document management system on the Microsoft SharePoint 2010 platform. He is an active member of the SharePoint community, and a regular contributor on CMSWire.com for various SharePoint and Enterprise Content Management topics.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to have Mike as part of the Hyperion family,” said Eyal Iffergan, president of Hyperion.  “This new practice represents a strategic growth for us and with our core group of platform, workflow and practice management technologists, we now offer unsurpassed leadership in information management initiatives.  Mike is a recognized leader in his field, and we are proud to offer his services to our clients.”
