The Sao Bento Mineração project is located in the state of Minas Gerais, while the site project office is in the town of Belo Horizonte, which is considered to be the epicentre of Brazilian mining.
In total, this property spans an area of 8000 hectares, close to the Brazilian capital of Brasilia. C2C Exploration holds multiple licenses to explore and develop the terain. Prospects for extraction on this site are excellent, due to strong ties to local infrastructure and community, meaning transport and labour are readily available.
A recently conducted pre-feasibility Study at the São Bento property has indicated high levels of gold mineralisation, in unprocessed areas. Although in the developmetal stages, this property holds great hope for C2C Explorations' expansion. The Sao Bento Mineração lies close to a pre-existing mine owned by AngloGold Ashanti Plc (AGD).
C2C Exploration C.E.O. Mr Chris Jarvis said "We've been eagerly awaiting production at the Sao Bento site in Minas Gerais for a long while now; and we're confident that we will realise the projected returns on this investment for the company and for our shareholders."
