Now I am all for people making money on the internet but I am also for people being able to find SOME information on it for free!! Why not?
A few years ago before Google started this ambitious cleanup it was difficult to find anything on the net that was not either for sale of information for sale. Almost all true article writing had disappeared from the net or at least it could not be found. Every article and link was something for sale.
So I do understand why Google did what it did. But it was a long time coming. How long has Google said you must have original content? And how many ''word spinners'' are out there on the market? That and the mega backlink tools on the net.
I do writing and now I recognize a site in trouble or that might be banned from Google's index. Ad after ad after ad. Just junk ad sites.
But the remedy is available .Not only that it is actually well known. The big secret, that is not so secret is, drum roll..... CONTENT!!!!
Yes it is CONTENT!!! We all know this but gee who has time to write all that stuff? I do know who to get to do this ,I'll get into that later where to get quality ,original content.
I did a website over the weekend. 14 pages , all original content. Selling three similar items. Each page had one to four images on it, and the rest content. All original. The website had no flash or anything. Straight
html except for three paypal buttons on it. I generated a sitemap , uploaded the site. Each page had meta tags except for three pages. I had none on those ,just the site description. Verified the site with Google and then did my secret ''indexing."
This has all the basics that Google doesn't just like , it loves!!
The website being just html it is clean and loads fast. All of the pages are properly optimized and all original content. Not just one, two or three pages but 14!
This is what Google likes, just clean html with clean copy. It really is not a lot of expensive plugins or software or anything. But what that site did have was pages of content! Now I know it will probably bounce around on the front of Google, drop back and move forward till it settles down but this is where a lot of Internet Marketeers fall short.

Squidoo is great tool for learning how to market on the net! How's that? Squidoo you must write original content or they will not publish it. If you go to Squidoo open an account and start writing lenses you will learn what is acceptable on the net. The standards that Squidoo sets on their website is the standard that you should be using for any and all of your Internet Marketing. If you are creating websites that would not be published on Squidoo, you are probably wasting your time!
A great benefit ,should you decide to start writing articles on Squidoo is, Squidoo is a PR8 site. Links on featured ,published lenses are indexed in Google in 24 hours. Often these pages appear in Google search returns very fast.
So if you are having pages slammed by Google you might consider using Squidoo to learn the standards that Google is looking for.
