Veterans Administration Approves Ashworth College Career Courses for Military Education Benefits

The United States Veterans Administration deemed Ashworth College’s 62 career diploma programs eligible for military education benefits covered under the Post-911 G.I. Bill and Montgmery G.I. Bill.
 
Sept. 5, 2012 - PRLog -- PEACHTREE CORNERS, Georgia – The United States Veterans Administration recently approved Ashworth College’s (http://www.ashworthcollege.edu) 62 career diploma programs as eligible for military education benefits covered under the Post-911 G.I. Bill and Montgmery G.I. Bill. This is in addition to its certificate and online degree programs previously approved and made available to servicemembers, military spouses and military veterans.

Ashworth offers a number of career diploma courses with specific appeal to those with a military affiliation, including a suite of business and technology courses, gunsmithing, early childhood education, and most recently, its three new certification courses – medical office assistant, medical billing and claims, and pharmacy technician.

Ashworth is a Yellow Ribbon school, a S.O.C. Institutional member, accepts A.C.E. credits, and is approved for GI/VA education benefits, DANTES, MyCAA and GoArmyEd. Its team of dedicated Military Education Advisors offer personal, one-on-one assistance from completing applications, to maximizing education benefits and transfer credits through graduation.

Additionally, Ashworth is consistently listed as a military-friendly institution by G.I. Jobs and Military Advanced Education, is a corporate sponsor of The Fort Benning Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation, and its sister school, James Madison High School, was elevated to Tier I status by U.S. Department of Defense earlier this year.
