Storm Shelter Contest: 11-year-old Maggie Britton Wins $1000 for Tornado Shelter Home Video

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 4, 2012 - NASHVILLE, Tenn. -  National Storm Shelters, LLC is proud to announce its $1,000 "I Heart My Storm Shelter" Home Video Contest winner: Maggie Britton.  Eleven-year-old Maggie took it upon herself to write, direct, edit and star in her contest video on behalf of her grandmother Joy Britton, a customer of National Storm Shelters. On July 31, her video quickly gained the lead in the contest with the support of her family and friends.

Her storm shelter contest submission tells the gripping tale of a young Dorothy worried that because a "storm is a'comin'", she may swept away to OZ.  Auntie Em, portrayed by Marlene, assures her that they can avoid the storm by seeking solace in their underground tornado shelter.

After the storm passes , Dorothy, Auntie Em and Toto exit the underground storm shelter unharmed. The video finishes with the following quotes: "If I only had a brain, I would get a National Storm Shelter," says Scarecrow;  "I Heart my storm shelter," says Tinman; "Why did I get a National Storm Shelter? Because it gave me courage," says Lion.
