Sep. 10, 2012 - Conicelli Autoplex, a new and used car dealership group in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, is very excited to announce its involvement with a great cause for the fifth year in a row. The Driving Away the Cold Program is a philanthropic effort of the CARing for Kids Foundation that will donate 10,000 new child-size coats to those in need. In addition, Conicelli has pledged that for every car sold in September at Conicelli Honda, Conicelli Hyundai, Conicelli Nissan, or Conicelli Toyota of Conshohocken, they will donate an additional coat.
In past years the Conicelli organization has donated approximately 1,000 coats per year and anticipates increasing that number with this year's program.
In just four years, the program has given the gift of a new winter coat to nearly 80,000 children – that totals more than $1.2 million in giving. This year, the program hopes to donate its 100,000th coat.
