Sept. 4, 2012 - PRLog -- Serial Entrepreneurs A.J. and Karin Caro prepare to move their six businesses into a new, state-of-the-art facility to better serve their diverse clientele. BluChip Marketing, Arrow Security, Bridge Brokers, Community Care, Knights Protection, and Strategic Healthcare, will be part of the move.

The building is located at 278 West Main Street, a location that provides a vibrant new downtown atmosphere for the company’s employees to work from. The Caros are working with Mark Mancini of Mancini Architecture, PLLC to ensure the new location has the amenities and a modern infrastructure that are crucial to service clients in a quick and efficient manner.

A.J. Caro stated, “We found an opportunity to revitalize a building that had been vacant and vandalized for four years and we’re creating an environment for our six growing businesses to flourish. Smithtown is a great town and there’s plenty of opportunity for growth and expansion and we’ll be eliminating a dangerous situation. The Suffolk County IDA was instrumental in helping to structure a deal that was attractive enough to keep us from looking to relocate anywhere else. They did a great job and more people should know about the great resource Suffolk County offers. The Town of Smithtown has been a pleasure to deal with and we’re working with a great design and architecture firm, Mancini Architecture.”

“The Suffolk IDA was happy to assist with the Caro’s expansion. The incentives that we provided enabled them to take an underutilized property and revitalize it. We are happy to take part in the company’s continued growth here in the County” – said Anthony Manetta, the CEO and Executive Director of the Suffolk County IDA.

The Caros have purchased a total of four acres, with two buildings at 18k square feet and 12k square feet. The new home is vastly bigger compared to the current building, at 60 Knickerbocker Ave in Bohemia. The Caros have held their businesses at 60 Knickerbocker for several years but recently felt it was time to relocate their multi-million-dollar operations to a more modernized facility. The move will provide more modern, efficient space for all the businesses that currently operate under a co-working environment with each other.

The move is expected to take place in October 2012.
