Ceram Publishes Lightweighting White Paper

Sept. 4, 2012 - PRLog -- Staffordshire materials technology company, Ceram, has published a new white paper on lightweighting, the concept of making a product lighter to drive up margins by using less material.

Also referred to as rightweighting, lightweighting has been adopted by certain industries, such as aerospace, to make products that are lighter but that still retain their performance characteristics.  In addition, the concept often leads to the development of new applications, products and technologies.
