Unlike most pampering events that are targeted at celebrities, this event was created to pamper public relations, social media, and marketing professionals. These industry heavy hitters had the opportunity to get their makeup done by the staff at Nakeah’s Cosmetics & Beauty Lounge, and experience a number of pampering services such as massages, spray tans, hair services, and enjoy a shopping experience with items such as jewelry and other beauty products.

While shopping and enjoying the pampering services, professionals were able to mingle amongst each other and network while being entertained by DJ Punch. Special guest who attended this event include reality TV drama queen Natalie Nunn, Actor Darris Love, and celebrity image consultant and designer Jean Francois Bro Grebe who came to support the organization.
Women In PR is currently gearing up for September 20-23rd when the 2012 Summit & Retreat will be taking place at the Eden Roc Renaissance hotel on South Beach in Miami, FL. This year’s retreat will feature People’s Revolution CEO Kelly Cutrone as the keynote speaker, as well as feature some of the publicist and who attended the pampering event.
The organization hopes to continue to inspire students and professionals in the public relations industry and plan to have more events that focus on these individuals.
