Sept. 4, 2012 - PRLog -- A world renowned football writer has been added to the line-up for the 2012 Dylan Thomas Festival.

Graham Hunter, the author of ‘Barca: The Making of the Greatest Team in the World’, will be giving a talk as part of the festival on Saturday November 3.

The book refers to how new Swansea City Manager Michael Laudrup came close to taking over at Barcelona in 2008.

Swansea Council has organised Graham’s visit.

Graham will discuss his book, Barcelona FC, the Swans and his views on football. His talk will be followed by a question and answer session with the audience.

Cllr Nick Bradley, Swansea Council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration, said: “We’re delighted that a sports writer of Graham’s quality is part of the Dylan Thomas Festival.

“FC Barcelona are known for their unique footballing style which has seen them dominate the world game.

“But from a local point of view, Swansea City FC have adopted a similar approach to the game. This is why we hope the event will attract football fans from across the city and beyond.”
