"While the unemployment rate can vary from month to month, Florida continues to see positive private-sector job growth," Gov. Rick Scott said in a statement put out by his office. "My goal remains the same, to make Florida the No. 1 business destination in the world by improving the state's economic climate, highlighting our talented and skilled workforce and getting Floridians back to work."
Monroe County (the Florida Keys) at 5.3 percent was best in the state, followed by Walton and Okaloosa, the only other counties under 6.5 percent.
Key Largo Florida, Sept 4th 2012, Key Largo’s top Producing Realtor Sally Stribling remarked, "The employment rate here is really incredible and has lot's of implications!
When asked how to explain, Sally remarked, “ Increased employment, means an increase in housing needs, which helps our second home owners that use their homes as rentals. It also means that in the long run property values will increase, raising property owners equity or net worth.
In addition to back this up, sales have in-fact been great. Part of it is due to an increasing tourist market, but in most cases it’s people who have wanted to own here and are now taking advantage of the great prices and incredibly low mortgage rates.
Bottom line is there never has been a better time to buy a piece of Paradise as there is now!
