British people find glasses wearers unattractive!

Sept. 3, 2012 - PRLog -- A recent survey from GetLenses.co.uk has revealed that the UK’s contact lens wearing public are ditching their glasses and opting to wear contact lenses, because they make them feel considerably more attractive.

In a bid to discover what people really think about glasses and contact lenses, leading online contact lens retailer, GetLenses.co.uk, polled over 2,500 contact lens wearers, discovering that people prefer wearing contact lenses not only for convenience and comfort, but because they feel more confident without glasses.  In fact, 90% of those surveyed find people more attractive who wear contact lenses rather than glasses.

When asked what people didn’t like about glasses, 40% said they are put off by the issue of not being able to see their eyes. Contact lenses offer glasses wearers a convenient alternative to clunky eyewear with all the advantage of better peripheral vision. Many contact lens wearers describe being ‘addicted’ to wearing them due to their multiple benefits which include not steaming up in the rain and basically looking a lot more attractive in them.
