My friends,

Operation People for Peace, Inc. has been an advocate for the underserved and underrepresented in the Gulf Coast Region for over 2 years. We have organized over 17,000 people, 10,000 who filed claims do to the damages they endured from the BP Oil Spill which occurred April 23, 2010.

On Wednesday, August 26, 2012, Hurricane Isaac hit the shores of the States of Mississippi and Louisiana. The people in Gulfport, MS were under water that was waist deep for a period of 4 days. We visited the community of Forrest Heights in Gulfport, MS on September 1, 2012 where 200 or more families are in need of immediate assistance.

On September 1, 2012 we also visited Pearlington, MS (See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pearlington,_Mississippi ) also covered in 4’ of water due to Hurricane Isaac. This community also has over 200 families whose homes were completely destroyed in Hurricane Katrina.

LaPlace, LA and Plaquemines Parish in Louisiana are both areas that have been greatly affected by Hurricane Isaac, where water in many places is waist high and affecting thousands or more families.

We need you to assist us in aiding these families in the following areas:

·         Unused Male & Female personal hygiene items

·         Washing Powder

·         Bleach

·         Unused Mops & Brooms

·         Buckets

·         55 gallon Trash Bags

·         Gloves

·         Can goods w/flip tops

·         Vouchers for $10 and $20

·         Insecticide (Mosquito repellent)

·         Unused Underwear & Socks

·         Furniture

·         Clothing

·         Toys

·         Bicycles for Transportation

·         School Supplies

·         Volunteers to help clean homes

·         Mechanics and construction workers to assist in repairs from water damage

·         Coordination from Red Cross & Salvation Army

Please contact me as soon as possible. I appreciate whatever you can do for these communities in the Gulf Coast who have been impacted by this disaster and please feel free to send this communication to others.

Sincerely,

/s/
