SalesGossip is a mobile and online platform which informs users of new and soon-to-come discounts in trending fashion retailers was supported by London Business School Incubator platform. The incubator which was built to support a number of new and recent MBA graduates in launching new business, is managed by the school’s career service, as well as the Deloitte Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Qualified contestants were given just 10 minutes to present their ideas and take questions from a captive audience of 150 persons who were mainly new business investors and individuals from the press. SalesGossip came out as the winner decided by Judge Rupert Turnball, publisher of Wired, who said in his statement “Zabetta expertly captured the audience’s attention, demonstrating her drive and passion for a hugely scalable business. SalesGossip is everything a company should be today; social, mobile and hyperlocal.”
The prize of £25,000 will go to the development and improvement of the SaleGrossip online and mobile service.
Emillio Sanz who previously worked for Index and Arena Mobile has acquired years’ experience in online and mobile marketing and innovative solution. Elizabeth Camilleri has held a number of online and marketing roles in leading companies, such as Price Waterhouse Coopers and Orange, and boasts of more than 18years experience in business strategy. Sanz and Camilleri entrepreneurial qualities shown through and enabled them to win the prized competition.
