Two new locations recently signed agreements to become part of the Assisting Hands Home Care family. Signing two agreements so close together is an accomplishment for many franchise companies, but for Assisting Hands it means much more because both of the new locations will be their first in each state. The two new office locations will be in Minneapolis, MN and Columbia, SC.
“As a national company, we are thrilled,” said Lane Kofoed, President and CEO of Assisting Hands Home Care. “Many businesses large and small feel the crunch of consumers holding back, but caring for the elderly and disabled takes a team effort, it takes a family of franchise owners to help care for these individuals across the nation in a way that friends and family can trust the quality of our care. This is why we work so hard for the continued growth of Assisting Hands and support each franchise owner in their dedicated service to ensure the health and happiness of our clients,” he added.
Currently there are over 40 franchises open across the country. Each franchise hires highly skilled caregivers and conducts a thorough background check on all potential hires. Additionally, all caregivers are trained in CPR and First Aid and are bonded and insured. According to Kofoed, Assisting Hands Home Care stands apart because of the continued training and quality of the caregiversand the dedication of the franchise owners.
AssistingHands Home Care is known for the family friendly culture that begins with the owners of the national company and continues through each franchise owner. They call it their FOFO or Family of Franchise Owners.
“Franchise prospects tell us one of the main reasons they join Assisting Hands is because of our family-orientated corporate culture,” said Director of Franchise Development Diane Wright.
Assisting Hands Home Care began in 2006 and is based upon Dr. Gail Silverstein's behind-the-scenes knowledge of the health care industry coupled with her personal experience helping her aging father at home.
